BES held its Readifest and Meet the Teacher on Mon, July 31, 2023! The day was a great success thanks to the community partners that participated in the event! Students were excited to see each other and get school supplies for the new school year.

LCHS halls were bustling due to the Jumpstart Program and Meet the Teacher activities held on July 31, 2023! Freshmen picked up schedules, met with teachers, and toured the classrooms and school. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors picked up their schedules!

Lawrence County Schools will be offering preschool FREE OF CHARGE again for the upcoming school year!
If you have a child who will be four years old on or before August 1st and you would like to enroll him or her, you are invited to contact any of the office secretaries at Blaine, Fallsburg, or Louisa West Elementary Schools for more information. Keep in mind, preschool provides children opportunities to develop kindergarten readiness skills, and our certified teachers are the best!
We do recommend that you call as soon as possible to get the registration process started!

Lawrence Co Food Service will be participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, Blaine Elementary School, Fallsburg Elementary School, Louisa West Elementary School, Louisa East Elementary School, Louisa Middle School, Lawrence County High School will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision for school year .
