The LCHS Choir has been invited to perform for the official opening of Septemberfest. The students will be performing on the main stage on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 4:00 PM! The students will be performing the selection "My Old Kentucky Home."

LCHS students enrolled in dual credit courses, including College English, Problem-Solving, and/or College Algebra toured Morehead State University's campus on Wednesday, August 28, 2023! The group received their MSU identification cards and enjoyed lunch.

The Dataseam apprenticeship program is now open for juniors! This is a paid, 2-year apprenticeship (junior/senior years) working with the LC Schools Technology Department. Students will gain real-world, work experience! This is an amazing opportunity!

The LCHS HOSA hosted a blood drive through the KY Blood Center. Thank you to all of the LCHS students and staff, who participated in the event. The drive ended with 37 usable units of blood! Remember, donating blood saves lives!

The first annual Harvest Moon Gala, a KY Proud event, will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 7:30 PM. The Lawrence County FFA, FCCLA, and 4-H programs are partnering together to host this fundraising event. FFA students are providing homegrown chicken and vegetables. Local farmers are contributing products as well. The FCCLA will be providing desserts. Make plans to attend this farm-to-plate dinner and support these amazing local programs!

Notice of Change! The LC Volleyball Game with Betsy Lane has been rescheduled from Tue, Aug 22nd to Wed, Aug 23rd at 6 PM. Also, the LC Football game with Shelby Valley scheduled for Fri, Aug 25th has a time change of 8 PM, due to the heat advisory.
