BES will proudly display the attendance trophy in their school for the next two weeks. The new attendance contest started on Monday, March 17th, and will run through Friday, March 28th! I believe our students enjoyed Read Across America week! Thank you to LCHS students, our SROs, and community members for reading to our kids. We didn't get pictures of all, but we are very appreciative! Loved seeing our students and teachers dressed up and excited each day!

As we wrap up National School Breakfast Week, we're delighted to share that LC Schools has served an impressive 5,396 student breakfast meals this week! This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our food service team. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Farley, our LC Food Service Manager, and Mrs. Hammond, our LC Food Service Clerk, for their unwavering commitment to planning delicious and nutritious meals for our students year-round. We also want to express our gratitude to all our schools' cafeteria staff, who work tirelessly to prepare tasty and healthy breakfasts and lunches. Your efforts are truly appreciated!
We had a GREAT Family Math Night! Thank you to all of our families for joining in on our Math games and visiting the Book Fair with Mrs. Burns. A huge thank you to Mrs.Pack, our Math Coach. She has worked for months to organize this event for our students at Louisa West!

Dr. Casey Fitzpatrick, a Certified Board Pediatrician, on board. He will be available for remote doctor's appointments for students registered in the program. We encourage all families to take advantage of this fantastic service. Registration sheets will be coming home with your child soon!

Today, Lawrence County Schools is celebrating the 100th Day of School! Many of our elementary schools have fun activities planned for the day. We hope our students and staff enjoy this special milestone! We have finally made it!
